Apple plans to equip smartphones and tablets motion sensors to protect the owner of the device from theft.
As reported by AppleInsider citing patent application filed in the Office of Patent and Trademark United States, the new technology will automatically turn on the siren sound on the mobile phone if the attacker will try to steal it.
When a theft from the sensor movements will flow signals that do not meet the typical scenario of operation of the device. For example, they will point to the fact that the movement is too rapid and large amplitude. Thus, the signals are processed by a processor, and if it determines that the theft occurs, it will be output to the speakers sound alarm.
According to TSN, at the same time to minimize the number of false positives, the company proposed to add an additional controller gadget.
