Hard drive manufacturer Seagate has decided to conquer the hearts of the users of smartphones and tablet computers.
At the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) the company introduced a hard drive capacity of 1 TB, powered by its own battery and through Wi-Fi. Capacity of the battery lasts for 10 hours, the disc can hold up to 500 movies in HD.
No modern mobile device is not able to store as much data. Cloud services help to solve a number of problems, but only where the gadget can connect to the point fast Wi-Fi. Hard Drive Seagate Wireless Plus creates its own wireless internet network, so that problems with data transfer rates and the stability of the connection should not be.
The Company expects that the main buyers of the device will be users of iOS and Android. But the HDD is also able to work with Apple Airplay, DLNA and Samsung smart TVs and even nearby devices.
