The reaction this time was a bit weaker than earlier this year when Asus introduced its device that combines a tablet and a smartphone, which the manufacturer aptly PadFone.
In fact, the device comes with a keyboard dock and user-oriented Android, interested in improving the functionality of a smartphone and life of its battery.
As a potentially interesting concept, original PadFone was not nearly as good in terms of sales. However, instead of giving up, Asus has decided to tease the customers in the form of a new version of the PadFone 2, which may prove to be more popular than its ill-fated predecessor. Or, at least, the company hopes so.
PadFone2, certainly has some interesting features, including a 4.7-inch HD-screen. The device is also equipped with a quad-core processor, perhaps, Snapdragon S4 Pro, as well as 13-megapixel rear camera and Android 4.1 (Sandwich Ice Cream). As expected, PadFone 2 will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor.
