The German division of Ford announced a competition to develop the elements of the car#39;s interior to help you feel more confident behind the wheel of elderly drivers. For all who want to try their hand at designing interior for drivers older Ford has launched a special website.
The report automaker says that some of the items, and the driving controls and multimedia devices, the development of which comes easily to young motorists, causing difficulties for older drivers. In addition, for the older generation car is not just a means of transportation, but an indication of independence. All these aspects are proposed to take into account when drafting the interior.
Ford is holding a contest in conjunction with specialists from the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University of Aachen.
The contest will run until December 18 of this year. The competition is open to all interested over the age of 18 years. Winners will be selected by a special jury. The best projects will be awarded prizes, which ones - are not reported.
