Jaguar has released the first photo teaser most powerful configuration sedan XF - XFR-S. The world premiere will take place on the model of the Motor Show in Los Angeles, which will be held from November 28 to December 9.
Charged sedan will be equipped with an aggressive aerodynamic body with additional air vents in the front bumper and uprated from 510 to 550 horsepower five-liter eight-cylinder engine with a mechanical supercharger. The same engine is equipped with a family of Jaguar XKR-S, presented last fall.
The dynamic characteristics of the most powerful XF - not reported. For comparison, the XKR-S Coupe can accelerate from zero to hundreds of 4.4 seconds. Its maximum speed is 300 kilometers per hour.
Earlier, the Jaguar has stated that the need to release a more powerful XF due to competition with the 560-hp BMW M5 and the 550-horsepower Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG (with package AMG Performance).
According to preliminary data, in the UK the novelty will cost about five thousand pounds more expensive than XFR - about 70,000 pounds.
