UNDER LOCK SKELETON FOUND LINCOLN SAXON KINGSSkeleton found in the Castle Lincoln, as scientists believe, belongs to the Saxon king or bishop, and dates back to around 900 BC He was found in a stone sarcophagus at a depth of three meters below the ground level of the castle, along with eight other skeletons in wooden grobah.Odin skeleton may have been originally wrapped in a thin cloth, which suggests that the remains were part of a religious burial, when the relics of the saints are buried within buildings, so that it becomes a sacred place for attending to his faithful.

The team of experts conducts DNA examination of eight skeletons. They also hope to hold a digital reconstruction of the skeleton in the sarcophagus. Archaeologists have uncovered the sides of the sarcophagus, but could not get access to the cover because it is deeply buried. They fear the coffin could fall apart if it begin to move, due to changes in environmental conditions. Scientists believe that it may belong to the Saxon king.

Lincoln Castle restoration project cost 19.9 million pounds, is expected to be completed by the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta in 2015. The castle, which included prison facilities will be renovated, along with the previously closed male prison Victorian era, which will be open to the public for the first time in many years. The castle walls will be repaired with full scheme for people with disabilities.
