Within two years, the French street artist Cells Abraham was chosen at night and removable labels pasted on street signs everywhere in the major cities of Europe, giving it a humorous tone. The labels were strategically placed so that they do not compromise the primary function of the sign. With a bicycle, or other shoulder, crates only takes twenty seconds to change the sign and disappear.
But all this is done not only to force a smile on the faces of passers-by. The cells thus condemns the standardization of society and the effect of isolation, which has a strong influence on us, restricting expression and thought. Many of his images also affect religious themes. In fact, his first label depicts Jesus Christ, but there are others for whom he painted the Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene.
